GUESS WHAT WE GOT IN OUR MAILBOX TODAY???

USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) sent us our official approval to adopt a baby from Korea! They've gone through all of our paperwork, screened our fingerprints and determined that Joe and I are able to furnish proper care to our adopted child!

HOORAY!!!

Now all we have to do is call our agency tomorrow morning and have them send all of our paperwork to the next place -- Spence Chapin. Spence Chapin is located in NYC and has a direct relationship with Social Welfare Society (SWS) in Korea. When a baby is available for adoption, Spence Chapin will fax our paperwork over to SWS and we will get our referral! This will probably happen within the next two months!!!! After we get the referral, we will have to wait about another two months for our baby to be escorted to America. I could potentially have my baby home in four months!!!! Finally, big news to report! Joe & I are elated as I'm sure you can imagine!
