Summer Grace is Home!!!
Summer is home, and she is a PERFECT little angel. She is nothing but smiles and giggles and is just the most laid back, amazing baby I could have ever wished for.
Aside from John having a stomach virus, her arrival at the airport was completely stress-free and nothing but exciting! She arrived in pigtails and slept through the whole entire exchange from the escort to my arms. She first woke up when we put her in the carseat and cried for about one minute, but as soon as I sat down beside her and we started the car, she looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back and she giggled. I knew at that point that God planned for this child to be in our lives. We are so blessed.
Her sleeping is slowly improving as she gets over her jet-lag, but for now, we are pretty exhausted. Johnny is having a pretty tough time adjusting to sharing his mommy, but he loves his sister very much.
Unfortunately, I caught John's stomach virus/flu and was completely out of comission for an entire day, but I'm so happy it only lasted 24 hours because I missed her so much already. I feel like she's been in our family forever. To follow are some airport pictures. I'll try to update the blog with more updated pictures soon!!

Well, for the second time we have witnessed the beauty and miracle of adoption. Our hearts overflow with love for your new little girl. Summer Grace is a sweet, lovable, precious, busy-as-a-bee little doll from Heaven. We will always be grateful that you allowed us to help you during her first week home. We are proud and excited to be her grandparents.
